Portfolio of Works

While oil painting has existed for thousands of years, it is my most-recent medium.   The slow-drying paints permit beautiful blending and can be applied in a variety of ways.  Dramatic effects obtained from this painting method are quickly making it one of my favorites.

These water-based mediums are ideal for capturing subjects when drying time is limited.  I enjoy painting while traveling and they permit me to create while exploring new sights.  The luminosity and transparency of watercolors appear with a particular beauty as they appear to glow.  

I was fortunate to have amazing teachers during my high school years who helped me understand the principles of art and allowed me the freedom to hone my drawing skills.  I will be forever grateful to their belief in me and their genuine support.
